PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING PLAN

Good Stewards of all that God has given us.

1.      What is the pre-authorized Giving Plan?

The Archdiocese of Toronto with St. Mary’s Parish is establishing a Pre-Authorized Giving Plan to assist you in your support of the work of our church through your regular parish offerings.  This initiative is entirely optional.

Pre-Authorized Giving, however, creates a win/win situation for you and your parish.  It’s a very simple procedure.  When you participate in Pre-Authorized Giving your offering will be withdrawn from your account on or about the 20^th of the month.  This amount will then be deposited to the parish’s account.

2.      Why Should I participate?

Advantages for the donor:

• Convenience. 
• Your offering is made automatically every month.
• Continual support of your home church when you are away.
• No more searching for cash or cheques before mass.

Advantages for the Parish:

• Regular, dependable flow of contributions to the parish.
• Reduction of paper work and bookkeeping.

3.      How do I enroll?

This is how you make your donation through the Pre-Authorized Giving Plan:

• Remember your donation will be received on a monthly rather than weekly basis.  Decide the amount of your donation to the parish to be withdrawn from your account each month.
• Fill out the form included here and attach a cheque from your account marked “void”.
• Put the form and void cheque in an envelope and place in the collection basket or mail to the parish office.

4.      Who looks after the plan?

The Office of Stewardship Development of the Archdiocese of Toronto administers the Pre-Authorized Giving Plan for the parishes.

5.      How will pre-authorized giving replace my current giving?

Small cards are available to be placed in the collection basket.  Please note that our parish office will issue receipts for all donations.  We will still have envelopes available for Share Life and other special contributions.

Please attach a void cheque and drop off at parish office or leave in offertory basket on Sunday.

Withdrawals will commence in the next month after authorization form is submitted.
